高一的文化之旅也顺利完成了！感谢 18 位老师带领9个班级的学生前往11个地点，许多班级可说是把握出游的机会，尽量安排多个活动和地点。

值得一提的是，今天的文化之旅可说是海、陆、空三栖！有的班级前往水族馆了解海底生物；有班级前往洛高宜野生动物园、Borneo Ant House、Aquascape去了解不同生物的生态环境；有班级前往KKIP Aerospace了解航空工程。此外，还有班级选择前往吧巴，与吧巴中学的学生进行交流以及友谊赛！

今日有两个班级选择前往本地食品工厂—— UINAH 及 C&F，近距离看见食品处理与加工、包装的过程让同学们无不肃然起敬，大开眼界。

高一同学们今日的活动同样精彩，非常感谢各个据点接待的代表以及负责为同学们讲解的讲员！明天就是初一班级的文化之旅了，相信初一同学更是非常期待了～

活动 Activities：

  • VISITING HOUSE OF SKULLS
    The existing house in which the skulls are kept are more popularly known as the “House of Skulls” and in itself is already a prominent tourist attractions since 1979 and is widely mentioned in tourist brochures and travel guides.
  •  WATCHED CULTURAL PERFORMANCE
    Students were mesmerised by the beauty-bird-like dance of the ‘Sumazau’ and the rhythm of Gongs and other traditional dance of Sabahan Tribe. For us , we decided to join the morning session at 11.00 am.
  • JOINED INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES
    The Heritage Village has so many spectacular sections open for visit and with well guided tour made available .We har the opportunity to see and experience the culture and lifestyle of how the indigenous ethnic communities of the Kadazan used to live in the past.We even had the chance to tried Sago Grub in here.

  • To experience Outdoor & Indoor activities of the local indigenous tribes.
  • Lunch – tase of traditional local food

地点 Venue : Shalom Valley

活动 Activities : Students took part in activities such as rabbit & chicken feeding, Captain Ball and also treasure hunt. Packed lunch was served as part of the package.

地点 Venue: Aquascape

活动 Activities:

  • Students and teacher have the opportunity to explore different areas of Aquascape Center, gaining valuable insights into the diverse ecosystems in K.K.
  • Learn the detailed information about the freshwater fish inhabiting in the fish tanks
  • Interactive session with animals, including feeding session with the rabbit, koi fish and tortoise
  • One of the highlights of the visit is to hold and capture photo with baby python snake.
  • Knowing different species of herbs and hands on planting herbs.

  • Aerospace
    An aviation training centre for aspiring Aircraft maintenance technician. Equipped with facilities for its students and a hangar with a workshop for students to work on engines. Students were given the opportunity to board on an old private aircraft to experience and learn about the functions of each buttons on the plane.
  • UINAH
    A local Sabah beverage company started in 2018 and is expanding its horizon to other parts of Asian. Students were given insight on how a business starts, and develop through different stages. Students were eager to learn about its production and marketing strategies.
  • UMS (Muzium Perubatan)
    Students were full of curiosity upon arrival as it’s their first experience on learning about the human organs. It was informative. However, students were not allowed to take pictures or recordings as a way to show respect to the specimens.

活动 Activities：Students took part in activities like packaging of bottles into boxes, deattach tags on bottles, and Q&A session with speakers.

活动 Activities：

  • The Borneo Ant House offers a captivating and diverse array of activities within its all-in-one mini theme park. Students explored the following attractions.
  • Underground Gallery:
    Students descended into the fascinating world beneath the surface, where an underground gallery showcases the intricate tunnels and nests created by ants.
  • Modern Tree House:
    Students climbed up to a modern treehouse that offers a unique perspective of the surroundings.
  • Suspension Bridge:
    A suspension bridge spans across the park, providing both an exciting adventure and panoramic views of the entire Borneo Ant House.
  • Borneo Tribal Costume:
    Students immersed themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Borneo by trying on traditional tribal costumes. This activity allows students to connect with the indigenous roots of the region.
  • Headhunter Sword:
    Students explored the history and craftsmanship of headhunter swords, gaining insights into the traditional weapons used by Borneo’s indigenous communities.
  • Ant Replica’s:
    This exhibit provides a visually stimulating experience for students interested in the world of ants.
  • Real Ant Lab:
    Students engaged in hands-on learning at the real ant lab, where students can observe live ant colonies and gain insights into their behavior, communication, and social structure.
  • The combination of educational exhibits, cultural experiences, and thrilling activities makes the Borneo Ant House a well-rounded and memorable destination for our class trip.

班级 Class：高一和 S1 HE

地点 Venue：吧巴中学

活动 Activities：

高一和班今早8时30分抵达吧巴中学，本次活动的宗旨是为了促进两校学生之间的交流，了解吧巴中学的建设。

吧巴中学是一所小而美的学校，校长用心办学，环保活动在该学校成功落实。日常生活中的每个小细节，都可以感受到学生随时做环保。不仅如此，在校园各个角落还放置各种用废弃物品做的艺术品。

此外，班导师用心带领同学布置班上的布告板，六个班级的布告板都各有特色，其中最漂亮的非初三班级莫属。

参观学校之后，两校进行了男生篮球友谊赛，各校都发挥了最佳的体育精神。

地点 Venue：洛高宜野生动物园 (Lok Kawi Wildlife Park)

活动 Activities：

洛佳宜野生动物园位于郊区，模拟了动物的生态环境，可以让学生了解动物的生活习性，从而让学生明白保护动物与维护生态环境的重要性。

班级 Class：高一礼 S1 LI

  • C&F Enterprise (KKIP Factory)
  • UMS Aquarium and Marine Museum

活动 Activities：

  • Learning the ways of food processing and food preservation.
  • Explore and experience the biodiversity of the world underwater by learning about the behaviour and natural habitats of sea creatures.
